DURHAM SCHOOL SERVICES PARTNERS WITH ANDOVER ADVANTAGE FOUNDATION
Andover, KS – Durham School Services, a leader in student transportation, is partnering with Andover Advantage Foundation to support the Andover Community Food Bank with a “Stuff the Bus” food drive. On Sunday, May 7, Andover Advantage Foundation is hosting The Truck Stops Here event from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at The Plaza located at Central and Andover Road. Durham is donating a bus to collect non-perishable food items for those in need. “We’re proud to partner with local organizations that share our same values,” said Chuck Mosqueda, general manager for Durham. “As the student transportation provider for Andover Public Schools, Durham is delighted to give back to the community.” The event will feature Wichita’s favorite food trucks, live jazz music and a local craft fair. Durham’s Pride the Safety Dog will also be in attendance. Event proceeds will benefit the Andover Advantage Foundation. “As a community driven and led organization that doesn’t limit our reach to just being inside the classroom, our mission is to enrich the lives of all students in Andover,” said Anna Warrington, executive director of Andover Advantage Foundation. “We are thrilled to partner with Durham School Services for The Truck Stops Here – Jazzfest to bring our community together for an exciting opportunity to raise awareness and funding for the students, families and schools of Andover.”
