Durham School Services held onto its record of being the top corporate sales team for the Special Olympics Windy City Rubber Ducky Derby.  The company raised $11,194.00 through duck sales and donated an additional $5,000.00, which will help support year-round athletic training and competition in 19 sports for almost 21,500 Special Olympics athletes and over 13,000 young athletes (ages 2-7) in Illinois.

“I’m proud of our duck sales team and their commitment to Special Olympics Illinois,” said David. A. Duke, President & CEO of National Express Corporation, Durham’s parent company.  “Throughout the summer they engaged the entire corporate office by promoting the benefits of Special Olympics, and did a stellar job selling duck adoptions.”

To further encourage duck adoptions, Durham held an employee fundraising event in July as part of its annual drive to support Special Olympics. Employees held a Baggo Tournament and lined up for the chance to send senior executives into a dunk tank.
